The staff at Solar Technology commemorates workers and motorists killed or injured in highway work zones today by wearing orange. By wearing orange, we hope to raise awareness and reduce the number of work zone deaths.
In addition to the Go Orange day, Solar Technology donated $1000 to The Foundation, part of the American Traffic Safety Services Association, to provide scholarships to the children of fallen workers.
SolarTech is proud to build flashing arrow and message boards that help slow traffic and save lives. We’d like to remind motorists to slow down, pay attention and drive carefully through work zones.
