Solar Technology Inc. was re-evaluated in Intertek, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, in July 2016 and was subsequently awarded an ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System.
The Intertek auditors looked at Solar Technology’s processes, including engineering, manufacturing, sale, repair and service of our traffic safety equipment. SolarTech had previously been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certifications every year since 2000. The new 9001:2015 standards were updated to take into consideration new technological advancements in the workplace and a higher focus on the quality of outputs to customers.
