High Water or No Water…We’re There to Help

On July 1, for the first time in its 92-year history, Rancho Santa Fe – an ultra-wealthy southern California suburb – will be subject to water rationing. The community of ranches, gated communities and country clubs uses five times more water per capita than the statewide average, according to an article in Sunday’s Washington Post. And SolarTech signs are being used to communicate the new rules.

This photo from the Post article shows a message board with a link to the Santa Fe water department, warning citizens that they must cut water use by 36%. Quite the opposite from the sign we spotted on Texas media warning of high waters during a flood.

We’re proud to see our signs used to spread the word – in both emergency and informational situations.

If you see a SolarTech sign in the media, please send it to us here. We love seeing our signs in action!
