Our easy-to-use touch-screen Mega-Tech Controllers are one reason that customers prefer SolarTech message boards; but rather than rest on our laurels, we are always adding cutting-edge technology to make our products quicker and easier to use.

Solar Technology has once again upgraded our already innovative Mega-Tech Controller with a new version – featuring an integrated modem and GPS, faster processor and sharper, brighter graphics.

No Need to Download New Versions

With MegaTech version 3, we’ve eliminated the need to download and install software updates. For most units, TRAFIX upgrades automatically when you login. If needed, we’ve supplied a link to the upgrade below. Command Center replaces Control Center as the user interface. The software now opens to a map, showing the locations of all your signs. Unlike Control Center where you controlled each sign individually, Command Center allows you to select multiple signs and schedule messages on all.
If needed, upgrade here: NOTE! Please delete any previous upgrade file on the directory where you will place this upgrade file. If you attempt to overwrite an older file, the upgrade will fail. NOTE: If using CHROME as your browser, you may need to right click and select “Save Link As”, and then save the file to the designated folder.

Built-in Modem and GPS for FREE Communication

Here’s exciting news! We’ve added a Modem and GPS to our 2014 Message Boards – included at no extra charge!  Use these with our Command Center software and 60 months of free cellular service, and you can change messages and set schedules remotely, diagnose problems from your desk, and get access to your board’s GPS location and status… giving you an advanced Fleet Management system – for free!

Snappy Navigation, Brighter Graphics

For your workers on the job site, there are improvements that will make their jobs easier, too. Mega-Tech Version 3 Controllers now boot up in under a minute. The graphics are higher resolution (sharper) and brighter; yet the basic functions remain – so there’s no new navigation to learn.  Our simple touch-screen menus are intuitive: no manual is needed.

Backwards Compatibility

MegaTech version 3 Controllers can be purchased to update your older units. Since the GPS and Modem are included, you’ll get 5 years Free Cellular Service and, along with getting an updated unit, you’ll reach a new level of fleet management.
