On Wednesday October 2, 2024, part of the Solar Tech team visited LTCI.

Solar Technology has had a long standing 16-year partnership with LCTI within their Co-Op, on the job training programs; welding, painting, and electronics. We, Chris Rzonca- Production Manager, Archie Devino- Production Supervisor, Zack Sommer- Welding Team Lead, Chad Owens- Engineering Manager, Kari Naidu- HR Manager, and Mike Moran- COO, attended a full spectrum tour and met with the directors of the Co-Op program. The visit was very eye-opening for us to explore new technologies and growth paths while gaining some added expertise from the instructors at LTCI.  We were able to bring back some new ideas and fresh perspectives!!

Solar Technology is looking forward to continued opportunities to build our community involvement and foster our relationship with LTCI. The Production Supervisors will be joining the Diversified Career Occupations (DCO) Occupational Advisory Council (OAC) and Mike has been invited to join the Board.

During our tour of the Welding Department at LCTI we saw some of our Co-Op students hard at work.

James Ronceros and Tyler Sollars completed the welding Co-Op program, over the summer, here at Solar Tech. James will be joining us again this fall.
