Adhering to SolarTech’s mission of providing products of the highest quality, all electronic components on SolarTech equipment carry the CE mark, a universally accepted European standard. In order to obtain and maintain CE certification, electronic components must undergo a series of mechanical and electrical tests designed to verify the safety and reliability of the equipment, and adhere to strict CE guidelines. Electromagnetic Radiation

One such test measures the amount of Radio Frequency (RF) energy emitted by the electronic components and assemblies of the product, commonly known as Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Excessive amounts of EMI can interrupt, obstruct, or otherwise degrade or limit the effective performance of neighboring electronic or electrical equipment.

Meeting CE requirements in this area ensures that SolarTech’s equipment will not interfere with the function of other electronic or electrical equipment in close proximity, such as critical police or emergency medical devices.
