Software Updates
Software updates for your message boards are available for download free. It is important that you have the most current software version for your equipment because updates fix known software problems and improve functionality.

MEGATECH Software Update for Controller Version 1
- Begin by connecting a USB flashdrive to an available USB port on your Windows computer.
- From the window below labeled “TRAFIX Updates” click on the link: “TRAFIX-1.10.0 Update”
- NOTE: If using CHROME as your browser, you may need to right click and select “Save Link As”, and then save the file to the designated folder.
- Save the file to your USB thumb drive. ** If you receive a prompt asking if you’d like to overwrite the existing “upgrade.stu” file, click YES.
- When finished, remove the USB flashdrive from your Windows computer.
- Make sure that the voltage of the message board is above 12 VDC as indicated on the Energy Management System. Power down the Control Console.
- Connect the USB flashdrive to the USB port at the rear of the MegaTech Control Console.
- Power up the Control Console and allow it to boot.
- The MegaTech Control Console software will detect the USB flashdrive and start the update. You should see a display that indicates the progress of the update followed by a display which indicates the status of the completed update (Success or Error). Please allow up to twenty (20) minutes for the update to complete. Do NOT power down while the update is in progress.
- When the update is completed successfully, power down the Control Console and remove the USB flashdrive from the USB port.
- Power up the MegaTech Control Console and allow it to boot normally. The system should now be running with the latest version of Control Console application software. Power down the MegaTech Control Console again and boot normally. Your update is now complete.

About the software
TRAFIX Controller Software
The TRAFIX software runs the MegaTech control consoles. You use it on your sign’s console to create, store and schedule messages. To update, download the file onto a USB stick, plug it into your sign’s USB port and upload the new version. Start by choosing your controller version above.
Command Center software
Command Center allows you to communicate with multiple signs remotely from your office or while in the field. Use this software on your PC or mobile device to manage, monitor and segment your fleet.

Control Center software
This software is used on older model keyboard and touch-screen controllers, and allows you to connect (via modem) directly to a single sign. Start by choosing the controller above. If you have a keyboard controller, please call us at 610-391-8602 to learn how to update to the latest version.
