Bluetooth detection technology used to monitor vehicle travel times between two or more locations along a roadway or through a construction zone.

Bluetooth sensors installed at different points along a roadway detect compatible device identifiers. By matching observations between locations, the system can estimate how long vehicles take to travel through a particular corridor.

This information can be used in SmartZone to automatically update message boards with estimated travel times or delay information, or used independently for monitoring and reporting.
